Little Live Pets Birds - Cool Cookie
The Little Live Pets Bird Single Pack is the perfect way to have your very own pet bird!
Your bird will respond to your touch, sing, chirp and tweet just for you! The more you play with your bird the happier it becomes! Cool Cookie is just one of the new Little Live Pets Birds collection from Character, there are 6 different characters to choose from in total.
My Lily has been bugging me for ages for a new pet so when I saw these, I jumped at the chance to try one out. I wanted to give Lily her wish for a new pet without the responsibilities of looking after a real one. I was intrigued to see what would happen when I showed her.
As you can see from this picture, Lily was pleasantly surprised. She loved her new Birdie friend. She sat stroking him and talking to him for ages. She loved that he could fit on the back of her hand just like a real bird but without the worry of it biting her. She loved the way she could record her own voice even if she did make it say "Mummy has a big big" to me.
Her new friend was easy to set up, I simply added two AAA batteries into the bottom and turned it on. There's a sensor on it's back which activates it's tweets and songs when you touch it's back. You can make the bird record your voice by pressing a button, you can then play it back over and over again which was lots of fun, Lily loved that feature.
These Little Live Pets Birds cost £9.99 each and are aimed at children aged 5 and over. Lily who's 7 has enjoyed playing with it this week. I'm not sure how long it will be before she gets bored of him but for now she's happy which is all that matters to me. Lily scored her new friend a fun 3/5. She liked his colours and features but still wants a 'real' pet.

Vimto launches New Fruity Water Enhancers
Vimto, the multi-fruit soft drink, is making a splash with a brand new range of ‘water enhancers’ called 'Vimto Squeezy'. Unlike regular squash, or other products in the Vimto range, Vimto Squeezy comes in a small and portable squeezy bottle, which means it can be used anytime, anyplace, anywhere, transforming ordinary water into a delicious tasting drink with just a couple of drops of flavour - simply flip, squeeze and drink.
The fun-to-use, mini bottles are small in size but big on servings (making approximately 25 drinks), which means Vimto Squeezy is the ideal on-the-go hydration solution for the whole family, offering a convenient, taste-twisting alternative to unflavoured water and an exciting thirst-quenching experience for everyone.
Vimto Squeezy suggests adding 0.8ml to a 100ml glass of water, equating to just under a quarter teaspoon (in reality a couple of squirts of flavour), and the small 50ml bottle (RRP £2.49) will typically provide as many as 25 servings. However, you can add more or less to suit your own personal taste, giving you full control to enhance the flavour of the water as you wish.
We've been trying the new Vimto Squeezy range this week. They arrived just in time for the heat wave we've been having. The bottles are small but they make lots of lovely juice. On one trip to the park we took a bottle of our Vimto Squeezy along with us. I got to still enjoy my usual water whilst the kids got to enjoy a cup of juice by adding just a few drops into theirs.
My kids liked their new Vimto Squeezy flavours, it tasted sweet and juicy just like other juices and there's no added sugar too which meant I was happy to give it to them. There's 3 flavours to choose from, Original, Cherry or Strawberry. There's no added sugar and the taste is great.
We've been really impressed with the new Vimto Squeezy range, the bottle size is just perfect for taking on long journeys or even short ones, you just pop it into your bag and go. You no longer have to carry around a whole bottle of juice, which can get really heavy at times. WE now just take our tiny Vimto Squeezy and grab a bottle of water when we need one to mix together to get a refreshing juice drink. We will definitely be buying more of these soon.
Disclosure: We were sent samples of Vimto Squeezy for free for the purpose of this review but that doesn't influence our review. All opinions expressed are 100% and my own.

Wyld Wood - Premium Organic Cider
This weekend here in the Mummy Of 3 Household, we've been testing out Wyld Wood Cider. It's been a tough job but someone had to do it, it was my pleasure really.
Wyld Wood, formerly known as Premium Organic is a traditional premium cider produced from fruit sourced in Herefordshire’s organic orchards. Fully matured in old oak vats, Westons Wyld Wood cider has a truly apply, fresh and full-bodied taste with a ripe aroma – a true celebration of nature in a glass.
Westons has produced organic cider for over 15 years and Wyld Wood is a brand that comes straight from the heart of their values. It illustrates their deep and ongoing passion for good quality cider and respect for nature and wildlife.
It was re-branded Wyld Wood back in September 2011 to emphasise its organic and rural origin. They wanted to refresh the brand so consumers felt more connected with the simple, natural beauty of its origin.
If you're feeling really Wyld, you can even cook with their cider – it’s a delicious and great addition to any meal! Have a look here for Recipes.
Wyld Wood is available nationwide and you are able to buy it in a variety of supermarket and independent stores across the country, including Waitrose, Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsburys. Or of course, you are able to order all the range from the comfort of your own home at their online shop.
They are delighted to be the official cider of Jamie Oliver and Alex James’ Big Feastival this year, the family-friendly foodie and musical festival for 15,000 in the Cotswolds, for the second year running (29th – 31st August). The Wyld Wood Cider Bar is located within a cool tepee which will once again be centrally located. I so wish we were going but it's just a bit too far from home for us being based in Birmingham. If you're local or maybe even just fancy a road trip then the Big Festival sounds like one to check out, it could be fun!
Wyld Wood comes in 500ml glass bottle which are a great size, they're much bigger than I had thought they would be. One bottle serves around two glasses which is perfect for sharing with a partner or a friend or simply enjoying as an afternoon treat like I did. I'm not a cider drinker really but I was happy to try something new. I served my cider chilled which is recommended, the colours are clear, golden and very refreshing looking. The taste is smooth and very balanced, it wasn't very dry but then again it wasn't very sweet either. It has a real natural taste, which is what I guess they were aiming for. It's a real refreshing drink which won't break the bank. A case of 12 x 500ml bottles will cost you £26.00 from their online store which equals around £2.16 a bottle which for a bottle that size is pretty good.
If you don't want a bottle Wyld Wood is also available in bags which come in easy to dispense boxes. These have a 12 months shelf life from filling and a maximum 6 weeks shelf life from when opened which is a pretty long life. 4 x 3L bags in a box would cost you £32.00 from their online shop working out at £8.00 for 3 Litres which is a great price.
The bags in a box were really easy to use and worked really well. I took a box to my mums house this weekend and we all enjoyed a glass together with our Sunday dinner. It was a cheeky Sunday treat which we all enjoyed, my mum and dad loved it. It made a really refreshing change to our usual glass of wine or juice. It's fresh taste went down really well with our meal. My brother enjoyed his glass of Wyld Wood so much that he had a second one later in the garden. The 3 Litre box was great as it had enough in it for my whole family.
It's been a really refreshing change to try something new and I learnt a lot in doing so this weekend. Cider is not just for men but for women too, it's a fresh tasting treat which can be enjoyed by all. I'm happy I tried it and will be drinking it again in the future I think.
Disclosure: We were sent samples of Wyld Wood Cider for the purpose of this review but that doesn't influence our reviews. All the opinions expressed are 100% honest and my own.
Love LEGO? Check out the Brand New
LEGO Friends Magazine!
Based on the hugely popular toy franchise, the LEGO Friends magazine is a brand new title aimed at girls aged 7-11 years. It features lots of characters from the toy range and comes packed with puzzles, quizzes, posters and competitions.
Every issue of the magazine will feature an exclusive LEGO Friends toy – Issue One which went on sale July 2nd included an adorable Charlie the Puppy gift!
Lily loved her free gift, her cute pooch now lives happily beside her bed where she plays with it and pets it every day. Lily who's aged 7 loves her new LEGO Friends magazine, we've been looking for a new magazine for her to subscribe to since her older sister Chloe started getting her Girl Talk magazine. Lily is delighted now that she gets her very own magazine delivery every fortnight through the door just for her. She's been enjoying the cartoon comic strips and loves doing the fun puzzles and colouring in activities.
The magazine is bright and colourful with lots of fun things to read, write and do. It's a great way of encouraging my Lily to read different formats of writing, the comic strip stories are great. Lily was a fan of LEGO Friends before now but since reading all about the LEGO Friends characters in more detail, she now loves them even more.
If you're looking for a fun filled magazine that isn't aimed at older girls like I was then the LEGO Friends magazine could be just the thing you are looking for. Not only do you get a great magazine but you also get a free gift of a new LEGO Friend every time.
Mummy Of 3 Diaries would happily recommend the LEGO Friends magazine to all it's readers, it's a fun read and a great way to add to your LEGO Friends collection.
